From Leysin, access to the take off point is by cable car to Berneuse (2048m). The summit zone around the cable car station is ideal to launch a paraglider ; the terrain starting on a slight incline followed by steep hillsides and even sheer cliff faces. Once airborne, the paraglider can start to enjoy a truly spectacular sight. A 360° panorama with – quite naturally – a view over the whole of Leysin but also one over the nearby mountain tops, the Mounts Aï and Mayen and over Lake Geneva.

Landing a paraglider is possible in the middle of Leysin on a special landing site in the Esserts district, just a few steps away from the cable car parking zone. For others, it is possible to land in Aigle giving the pilot so much more time to enjoy soaring through the air. The Aigle-Leysin train means that you can easily get back to Leysin.
